About The Position

ProSidian Seeks a Communication Training Course Instructor | Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) [USARC0022022] for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Hybrid – On/Off Client Si Contract Contingent, generally located across the Southeast (Fort Bragg, NC/Virtual Delivery) Across The Southeastern United States / U.S. East Coast Region supporting a Army Reserve civilian leadership development and training environment. This role is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Training Design Specialist / Instructor Level II. The role shall be principally focused on Civilian Training Services Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) for DOD/Military | Aerospace, Defense And Military - Aerospace, Defense, and Military (ADM) Industry Sector Group: Services And Solutions That Enable Aerospace, Defense, and Military Agencies To Enhance Capabilities, Drive Transformation, Operate Sustainably, And Maintain Mission-Readiness. We seek candidates with relevant DOD/Military Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for DOD/Military Sector Clients such as USARC. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - Civilian Training Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. The role provides services and support as a Communication Training Course Instructor [Civilian Training Services] aligned with the Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the DOD/Military Industry Sector. This role focuses on HC | Human Capital Solutions for clients such as United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) | USARC Civilian Training Services - 'Civilian Personnel Management Office (CPMO)'. Located Southeast (Fort Bragg, NC/Virtual Delivery) and across the Southeastern United States / U.S. East Coast Region (Of Country/World) Hybrid – On/Off Client Site and Virtual. Delivering communication learning solutions that strengthen workforce readiness, leadership effectiveness, and mission performance. The Communication Training program develops the verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills required to communicate effectively in professional and mission-focused environments. Participants learn practical techniques for delivering clear messages, strengthening active listening, overcoming communication barriers, and adapting communication styles to diverse audiences and situations. Through facilitated discussions, coaching exercises, scenario-based learning, and applied communication activities, participants enhance collaboration, strengthen workplace relationships, and improve organizational effectiveness. Learning Objectives: Improve verbal and written communication; strengthen active listening; enhance interpersonal effectiveness; adapt communication styles to different audiences; overcome communication barriers; improve professional correspondence; and increase influence and collaboration in workplace settings.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Instructional certifications preferred
  • Functional and technical requirements in the DOD/Military Sector
  • Principally support Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Disciplines
  • Facilitation, adult learning, communication, curriculum delivery, virtual instruction, and assessment skills
  • Leadership, collaboration, problem solving, communication, adaptability, and customer focus competencies
  • Integrates LMS platforms, audio/visual technologies, interactive exercises, and performance-based learning methodologies
  • NACI eligibility required
  • Supports USARC CPMO Civilian Leadership & Development Program
  • Proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio
  • Able to quickly learn other tools as needed
