About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring a Commission Sales employee in the Lingerie department at Stonebriar Centre. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, and creating personalized shopping experiences that encourage customer loyalty. The salesperson should have an interest in fashion, styling, and fit, and be able to offer trusted product guidance. Responsibilities include conducting bra fittings in the fitting room by measuring customers and advising on fit and style; Nordstrom provides training on its bra-fitting process. The role includes building a personal customer base through in-store interactions, outreach, and digital tools; using Nordstrom's 5-Point Selling Standard; following up with customers through the 2-2-2 Method, Nordy Club enrollment, and Personal Book; and keeping the department ready for customers. Hours vary according to business needs and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and event shifts. Occasional flexibility to support other departments may be required. Compensation is commission-based and varies according to merchandise sold; this position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.

Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver Nordstrom's 5-Point Selling Standard: Say Hello, Small Talk, Be Helpful & Sell, Fashion Authority, and Follow-up.
Conduct bra fittings in the fitting room, measuring customers and providing fit and style guidance.
Build and grow a personal customer base through in-store interactions, outreach, and digital tools.
Offer honest, confident style and fit feedback to earn trust and drive customer loyalty.
Set and achieve personal sales goals and remain accountable for results.
Keep the department customer-ready by stocking, re-merchandising, processing price markdowns, recovering merchandise, and participating in bi-annual inventory counts.
Stay current on product knowledge and trends to serve as a trusted style resource.
Communicate openly, contribute to a positive team environment, and help keep the department productive.
Follow up with customers using the 2-2-2 Method, Nordy Club enrollment, and Personal Book.
Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods, and occasionally support other departments.
