Commercial Kitchen Service Technician
About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen service technicians in the Milwaukee area to service and repair restaurant and other commercial foodservice equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. Technicians may specialize in commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. The role involves independent field work. General Parts Group provides service, repair, and maintenance for cooking, refrigeration, beverage, HVAC, and ware-washing equipment, and encourages technicians to pursue CFESA training certifications.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills.
- Experience with commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins.
- Experience as a combination cooking-equipment and refrigeration technician.
- CFESA training certifications are encouraged.
