About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen service technicians in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Technicians service and repair restaurant and other commercial foodservice equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. The company supports a field service force of more than 200 technicians across 26 states and provides service, repair, and maintenance for cooking, refrigeration, beverage, HVAC, and warewashing equipment. Technicians are encouraged to pursue CFESA training certifications.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both.
- CFESA training certifications; technicians are encouraged to pursue them.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair commercial restaurant equipment at customer locations.
- Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills, commercial refrigeration such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins, or both.
- Work independently in the field.
Benefits
- Hourly rates start at $25.00 and go up to $45.00 based on experience.
