About The Position

General Parts Group is hiring experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians in the Milwaukee area. Technicians service and repair commercial foodservice equipment at customer locations such as restaurants, hospitals, schools, and other commercial kitchens. The work may focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. General Parts Group provides a company vehicle and steady commercial service work, and encourages technicians to pursue CFESA training certifications.

Requirements

• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Nice To Haves

• CFESA training certifications are encouraged.
• Master Certification designation is held by many technicians, but is not stated as a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair restaurant and commercial kitchen equipment at customer locations.
• Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills, commercial refrigeration such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins, or both.
• Perform field service work independently.
