About The Position

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking Commercial Service Technicians (Hot Side) to serve Fort Myers, Florida, and surrounding areas. Technicians troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair commercial cooking and ware washing equipment at customer locations, providing prompt service and excellent customer care. The role includes maintaining a service vehicle, ordering necessary parts, identifying opportunities with existing accounts, and participating in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules. Compensation is based on skills and certifications held.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in cooking equipment repair or related military fields.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and criminal background screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Driving record must align with the company's safety standards.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lifting equipment.

Nice To Haves

• CFESA certification.
• Experience servicing Rational, Unox, and Garland equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking and ware washing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls promptly.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain the service vehicle and order necessary parts.
