About The Position

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians to service hot-side commercial food service equipment at customer locations across Pennsylvania. The company serves restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes from seven branches: Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. Technicians perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair equipment issues, document service activity, and provide customer support. The role includes an on-call schedule and use of a company-issued service vehicle and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or experience in a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must meet the company's safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• CFESA certification or manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose and repair issues with commercial equipment.
• Accurately report all service activities on a tablet after every call.
• Provide an excellent customer experience while supporting customers and partnering with internal team members.
• Work an on-call schedule, including overtime work.
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.
