About The Position

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking a Commercial Service Technician specializing in hot-side equipment for the Sarasota, Florida area and surrounding communities. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial cooking and ware-washing equipment at customer locations, while providing prompt service and excellent customer support. Technicians maintain their service vehicles, order necessary parts, and participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules. Compensation is based on skills and certifications held.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cooking equipment repair or related military fields.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and criminal background screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Driving record must align with the company's safety standards.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lift equipment.

Nice To Haves

• CFESA certification.
• Experience servicing Rational, Unox, and Garland equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking and ware-washing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls promptly.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain the service vehicle and order necessary parts.
