About The Position

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking Commercial Service Technicians specializing in hot-side equipment in the Punta Gorda, Florida area and surrounding communities. Technicians troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair commercial cooking equipment and ware-washing equipment at customer locations. The role emphasizes prompt service, meeting customer expectations, identifying account opportunities, and maintaining a service vehicle. Compensation is based on skills and certifications held.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cooking equipment repair or related military fields.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Successfully complete a drug screen and criminal background screening.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a driving record that meets the company's safety standards.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lifting equipment.

Nice To Haves

• CFESA certification.
• Experience servicing Rational, Unox, and Garland equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking equipment and ware-washing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls promptly.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain the service vehicle and order necessary parts.
