About The Position

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians specializing in hot-side equipment to serve customers across Pennsylvania. The company services commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment at restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes from seven branches: Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. Technicians perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair commercial equipment, document their work, and support customers and internal team members. The role includes an on-call schedule, with overtime pay. The position is full-time and seeks candidates with at least two years of industry or related experience.

Requirements

At least two years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or working in a related industry.
Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
A driving record that meets the company's safety standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
At least 18 years of age.
Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

CFESA certification or manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose and repair service issues and other problems on commercial equipment.
Accurately report service activities on a tablet after every call.
Provide an excellent customer experience while supporting customers and partnering with internal team members.
Work an on-call schedule, including overtime work.
Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.
