About The Position

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians to repair hot-side commercial food service equipment across Pennsylvania. The company services restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes from branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. Technicians perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair equipment issues, document service activities, and provide excellent customer support. This is a full-time role requiring at least two years of industry or related experience. Technicians must be able to work an on-call schedule, with overtime pay available for on-call work.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or working in a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record that meets the company’s safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• CFESA certification or manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose and repair problems with commercial equipment.
• Accurately report all service activities on a tablet after every call.
• Provide an excellent customer experience while supporting customers and partnering with internal team members.
• Work an on-call schedule.
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.
