About The Position

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians (hot side) to service commercial food-service equipment across Pennsylvania from its branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. The company repairs commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food-service equipment used in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Candidates should have at least two years of industry or related experience.

Technicians perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair commercial equipment, document service activities on a tablet, and provide excellent customer support while working with internal team members. The role includes an on-call schedule, with overtime pay for on-call work, and operation of a company-issued service vehicle and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or working in a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must align with the company’s safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

• CFESA certification or manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose and repair issues with commercial equipment.
• Accurately report service activities on a tablet after every call.
• Provide an excellent customer experience and partner with internal team members.
• Work an on-call schedule.
