About The Position

The Commercial Claims Supervisor leads a liability claims team handling caseloads of varying sizes and complexity, supporting high-quality and efficient service in accordance with Gallagher Bassett’s Best Practices. The role involves hiring and training adjusters, setting team goals, motivating performance, managing workloads, and fostering continuous improvement. The supervisor uses Gallagher’s technology to improve team efficiency and service quality, communicates proactively and professionally with clients, carriers, and brokers, and manages competing priorities while coaching and developing team members.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 10 years of related claims experience, including commercial auto liability claims involving complex litigation, bodily injury, and property damage.
At least 4 years of prior leadership experience.
Appropriate licensing and/or certification in all states where claims are handled.
Knowledge of all team-member-related functions.
