About The Position

The Command Center Associate greets customers and manages the customer storage pick-up process. The role includes verifying that pick-up customers are authorized, gathering required customer information, processing orders in POS, answering phones according to company procedures, and assisting customers with product questions and selections. Associates also clean and stock products to Floor & Decor brand standards and follow company safety procedures for lifting. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential job functions, as determined by the company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of store management and store associates.
• Strong computer skills and internet project coordination experience.
• Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet storage buy customers.
• Manage storage buy pick-ups using the company’s car topper program.
• Answer phones in compliance with company standard operating procedures.
• Verify the identity and authorization of people picking up storage buy orders.
• Obtain required customer information for all storage buy pick-ups.
• Deliver customer storage buy orders in POS.
• Follow company safety standard operating procedures for lifting.
• Maintain expert product knowledge and help customers with product questions and selections.
• Clean and stock products according to Floor & Decor brand standards.
• Act and work consistently with the company’s core roles.
