About The Position

Global Payments is seeking a Collections Advisor (B2B) to join its Finance Shared Services team. The role works with business customers to resolve overdue accounts, answer billing and settlement questions, process and record payments, and keep customer account information current. The associate manages competing priorities independently and collaboratively, supports teammates with accounting-related activities, and takes on additional projects as needed. Compensation includes hourly pay and an opportunity to earn a monthly incentive based on contributions and results.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate persuasively and professionally.
Intermediate computer navigation and operation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Effective interpersonal skills and sensitivity when dealing with others.

Nice To Haves

Business-to-business (B2B) experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and billing or collections software.

Responsibilities

Contact customers by phone, email, and other outreach methods to resolve past-due accounts and identify suitable payment solutions.
Monitor outstanding balances and help customers bring their accounts up to date.
Respond to billing and settlement questions and provide timely resolutions.
Track and share account-status and payment-progress updates.
Collaborate with teammates and assist with other accounting-related activities.
Manage priorities and multiple tasks while contributing to team success.
Maintain accurate, current, and organized customer records.
Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
Record payment activity and account updates in the appropriate systems and reports.
Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
