About The Position

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Collections Advisor (B2B) to join its Finance Shared Services team. The role focuses on helping business customers resolve past-due accounts, answering billing and settlement questions, monitoring balances, and processing and recording payments. The advisor maintains accurate customer records, communicates account and payment updates, works with teammates on accounting-related activities, and manages competing priorities while contributing to team goals. The position offers hourly pay plus a monthly incentive opportunity.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate persuasively and professionally.
Intermediate computer navigation and operation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Effective people skills and sensitivity when dealing with others.

Nice To Haves

Business-to-business (B2B) experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and billing or collections software.

Responsibilities

Contact customers by phone, email, and other outreach methods to resolve past-due accounts and identify suitable payment solutions.
Monitor outstanding balances and proactively help customers bring their accounts up to date.
Assist customers with billing and settlement questions and provide timely resolutions.
Track and share account-status and payment-progress updates.
Partner with teammates and support other accounting-related activities as needed.
Manage priorities and multiple tasks independently while contributing to team success.
Maintain accurate, current, and organized customer records.
Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
Record payment activity and account updates in appropriate systems and reports.
Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
