About The Position

This role is for a Coffee Bar Manager with a friendly personality and a strong customer service mentality. The manager will be responsible for carrying out all merchandising programs, ordering merchandise, and controlling inventory. They will supervise and provide in-depth training for department personnel, ensuring products are prepared, priced, promoted, and restocked according to approved procedures to minimize waste and maximize profitability. The manager will also coordinate the building of displays, signs, and product arrangements to maintain the highest standards of presentation and enhance the McCaffrey’s brand image. Adherence to safe food handling procedures for themselves and their staff is crucial. The role may require performing barista functions when necessary and other duties as assigned by the store manager.

Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

Carry out all merchandising programs for the department
Order merchandise and control inventory
Supervise and provide in depth training for department personnel
Make sure products are prepared, priced, promoted, restocked, etc. according to approved procedures while minimizing waste and maintaining maximum profitability
Coordinate the building of displays, signs, and the arrangement of products within the department
Insure favorable department image to the highest standards of presentation to increase the McCaffrey’s “brand”
Follow all safe food handling procedures and insure that staff also complies
Perform all functions of Baristas in the department when necessary
Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager
