About The Position
Buck Mason is seeking an exceptional individual to assume the role of Coffee Shop Manager at Fast Times SoHo. The ideal candidate will be a passionate coffee enthusiast with strong leadership skills, capable of training, motivating, and upholding Buck Mason's high standards. This role requires excellent communication, sound decision-making abilities, and a dedication to exceptional hospitality.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in team leadership.
- Possession of a Food Safety Certification or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Proficiency in math and computer skills.
- Ability to work a variable schedule including early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team and set high performance standards.
- Manage shifts effectively, ensuring team readiness, delivering top-tier hospitality, and adhering to Buck Mason's drink and food standards.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff on new offerings.
- Oversee operations to ensure safety and compliance.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to the team on performance.
- Maintain and enhance coffee knowledge through tastings, cuppings, and training.
- Prepare beverages and food items to high-quality standards.
- Ensure a positive and safe working environment for all team members.
