About The Position

The Cocktail Server performs beverage-service tasks courteously and efficiently, serving guests in lounge areas or on gaming floors. The role involves taking drink orders, obtaining and preparing drinks, maintaining a clean station, and following check-settlement and casino-floor beverage-control procedures. The server promotes positive guest relations, accommodates reasonable requests, stays informed about hotel and casino activities and beverage operations, and completes assignments from the on-duty Supervisor or Team Leader.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.
• Ability to handle cash and accurately make change.
• Ability to communicate in all aspects of the English language.
• Ability to understand and comply with departmental and Company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform beverage-service tasks in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Take drink orders from guests.
• Obtain drinks from the station.
• Garnish and ice drinks as necessary.
• Serve beverages to guests in lounge areas or on gaming floors.
• Maintain a clean station.
• Maintain knowledge of current hotel and casino activities, beverage outlets, and operations.
• Follow check-settlement and casino-floor beverage-control procedures.
• Promote good guest relations and accommodate reasonable requests.
• Complete tasks assigned by the on-duty Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
