About The Position

The Cocktail Server/Bartender prepares and serves beverages to customers and servers while maintaining clean, stocked, and properly set up bar areas. The role requires following standard drink recipes and serving laws, accurately ringing in orders, handling cash, and completing shift-end requisitions and inventories. The position pays $16.27 plus tips. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with $500 paid 90 days after hire and $500 paid 180 days after hire, subject to the team member being in good standing without documented performance or attendance notes. Applicants must be able and willing to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk properties and have flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. TIPS certification training will be provided. Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability and willingness to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk properties.
Flexible availability to work any schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience as a server.
Prior money-handling experience.

Responsibilities

Set up, clean, and stock the bars for each shift.
Take beverage orders from customers and servers and ensure every drink is rung in before it is prepared.
Follow standard drink recipes and use the proper glassware and portions.
Follow laws concerning the service of alcoholic beverages and guest interactions; never serve intoxicated persons.
Balance cash at the end of the shift and follow standard cash-out procedures.
Keep the bar, counters, and work areas clean.
Upsell food and beverages to patrons.
Prepare requisitions and inventories as required at the end of the shift.
Lock up product when necessary.
