About The Position

At Market 32/Price Chopper, the Co-Manager partners with store leadership and supports the overall operation of the store. The role is visible on the sales floor, coaching and developing teammates, helping departments execute effectively, and stepping in wherever needed to keep the business moving forward. It offers meaningful leadership responsibility and an opportunity for career growth.

The Co-Manager supports daily store operations, merchandising, staffing, and execution; partners with department leaders to maintain operational standards; and helps ensure product availability, presentation, freshness, cleanliness, and food safety. The role also responds to customer needs, supports staffing and scheduling decisions, and helps improve sales, expenses, shrink, and overall store performance. The Co-Manager maintains a safe and respectful environment and assumes store leadership responsibilities when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Requirements

• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in retail or grocery.
