About The Position
Vi at Lakeside Village is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The CNA assists licensed care staff with clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents, including support with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining and tray services, escort services, vital signs, weights, and other care-related duties. As a member of the care team, the CNA participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and reports changes in residents’ conditions as they occur. The position requires compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
Requirements
- Current state certification as a nursing assistant.
- Relevant experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification.
- Current First Aid certification, or willingness and ability to become First Aid certified.
- Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification where required.
- Basic computer skills or the ability to learn.
- Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with geriatric clients.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Responsibilities
