About The Position

The CNA/LNA I assists licensed care staff with clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents. Duties include supporting activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining and tray services, escort services, taking vital signs and weights, and completing other care-related duties as assigned. The CNA participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and reports changes in residents’ conditions as they occur. The position is at Vi at Aventura, 19333 W. Country Club Drive, Aventura, FL 33180.

Requirements

• Current state certification is required.
• Experience is required.
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
• Current First Aid certification is required, or the ability and willingness to become First Aid certified.
• Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required.
• Basic computer skills or the ability to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with geriatric clients.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
