About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists licensed care staff with clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents. Duties include helping residents with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining and tray services, escort services, taking vital signs and weights, and other assigned care-related duties. As part of the care team, the CNA participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and reports changes in residents’ conditions as they occur. The position is at Vi at Palo Alto, 620 Sand Hill Road, Palo Alto, CA 94304. The stated pay range is USD $24.40–$29.28 per hour.

Requirements

Current state certification is required.
Experience is required.
Current CPR/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
Current First Aid certification is required, or the applicant must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required.
Basic computer skills or the ability to learn.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities
