About The Position

Vi at Palo Alto is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist licensed care staff with clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents. The role includes supporting daily living and care needs, contributing to quality assessment and performance improvement activities, and notifying the care team of changes in residents’ conditions. Requirements

• Current state certification as a CNA is required.
• Experience is required.
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
• Current First Aid certification is required, or the ability and willingness to become First Aid certified.
• Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required.
• Basic computer skills or the ability to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide light housekeeping and dining or tray services.
• Provide escort services.
• Perform vital signs and obtain weights.
• Perform other care-related duties as assigned.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
• Notify the care team of changes in residents’ conditions as they occur.
