About The Position

Vi at Highlands Ranch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for AM and PM openings. The CNA assists licensed care staff with clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents, including activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining and tray services, escort services, vital signs, weights, and other assigned care duties. As part of the care team, the CNA participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and reports changes in residents’ conditions as they occur.

Requirements

Current state certification is required.
Experience is required.
Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
Current First Aid certification is required, or the ability and willingness to become First Aid certified.
Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required.
Basic computer skills or the ability to learn.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed care staff with clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents.
Assist residents with activities of daily living.
Perform light housekeeping, dining and tray services, and escort services.
Perform vital signs and obtain weights.
Carry out other care-related duties as assigned.
Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
Notify the care team of resident changes in condition as they occur.
