About The Position

Baptist Home Health Care by BAYADA is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants/Home Health Aides to serve adult and geriatric clients in North and West Jacksonville, Florida. This is a per-visit home health position involving visits to 5–6 patients during the daytime. Reliable transportation is required to travel between clients’ homes. The role supports BAYADA’s purpose of helping people live safely at home with comfort, independence, and dignity, through care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Requirements

Hold an active Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide Certificate; the posting also specifies that applicants must be listed on the Florida Nurse Aide Registry in active, good standing.
Have at least one year of work experience.
Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
Complete a criminal background check.
Meet all state requirements.
Have reliable transportation to travel between clients’ homes.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living.
Provide light housekeeping and home management, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
Provide oral feeding assistance.
Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Assist with ambulation.
Provide medication assistance.
