Certified Nurses Aide, CNA - Home Health Visits
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) for a per-diem opportunity completing home health visits with adult and geriatric clients in their homes throughout York County, South Carolina. The CNA is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing home health, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care so clients can receive the medical care they need while remaining at home. Reliable transportation is required. BAYADA describes its care environment as positive and stable, with tools and support for team members, including 24/7 on-call clinical manager support. The organization is an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider and complies with applicable state and local mandates.
Requirements
- Must be listed on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
- At least 1 year of verifiable work experience.
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
- Complete a criminal background check.
- Meet all state requirements.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide nail care.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
