About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) for a per-diem opportunity completing home health visits with adult and geriatric clients in their homes throughout York County, South Carolina. The Home Health CNA is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing home health CNA, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care so clients can receive the medical care needed to remain at home. Reliable transportation is required. BAYADA describes its work environment as positive and stable, with tools to do the job and 24/7 on-call clinical manager support. Requirements
- Must be listed on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
- At least 1 year of verifiable work experience.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
- Complete a criminal background check.
- Meet all state requirements.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
