About The Position

Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join its team and provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. The role offers flexible scheduling to meet caregiver needs, weekly pay, support staff, and online training. Duties may vary based on each client’s specific needs and include completing all tasks in the Client Service Plan.

Requirements

Current state CNA license in good standing.
One year of caregiver experience in a hospital, nursing home, other facility, or homecare agency setting.
Availability to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass Rhode Island’s National background check.
State-required annual flu shot.
State-required Hepatitis B shot.
State-required immunization record for Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and COVID.
State-required birth certification upload.
Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Adequate physical endurance.

Nice To Haves

Hoyer Lift experience, specific to the client.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, or wheelchair.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Plan, prepare, and serve meals, involving clients when they are able.
Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Complete other duties within the Client Service Plan.
