Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Frankenmuth Skilled Nursing & Rehab at Wellspring is hiring a full-time, night-shift Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident care and daily living support. CNAs build trusted relationships with residents and families, learn residents’ preferences and goals, and support independence, comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The role includes hands-on personal care, observation and communication with the nursing team, assistance with resident activities and transitions, and tasks that help maintain a clean, welcoming environment. The position offers hourly pay of $20.40–$22.90 and works 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend required.
Requirements
- Current Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and team members to provide exceptional care.
- Dependability, compassion, and commitment to teamwork.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous caregiving or related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, mobility, and other personal care needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
- Build relationships with residents and families and contribute to a positive resident experience.
- Observe residents and communicate important changes or information to the nursing team.
- Answer call lights promptly and assist residents with appointments and activities to support their comfort and safety.
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment through light housekeeping, laundry services, meal support, and related tasks.
- Participate in admissions and transitions, supporting new residents and their families.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and team members to provide care.
