About The Position
Hickory Creek Winamac is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to support residents’ well-being and provide individualized care. CNAs help create a warm, supportive, homelike environment that values dignity and respect. The role offers opportunities to build meaningful relationships with residents and staff and to contribute directly to residents and their families. Requirements
- Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to create a comforting and engaging atmosphere.
- Collaborate with nursing and healthcare teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and repositioning, to promote comfort and independence.
- Assist residents during mealtimes, supporting proper nutrition and individual dietary needs.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
