About The Position
LindenGrove Menomonee Falls, an Illuminus Community, provides assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term skilled care. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides person-centered care to residents in accordance with their care plans, supporting daily living needs while promoting dignity, respect, and resident rights. The role also involves monitoring and documenting residents’ condition and care, communicating changes to licensed nurses, and following safety and infection-prevention standards. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available with scheduling options that vary according to community needs. Shifts may be eight hours and may include a weekend rotation.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Be current on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and room preparation, according to the care plan.
- Monitor residents’ condition, respond promptly to their needs, and report changes or incidents to the licensed nurse.
- Accurately document care each shift.
- Promote dignity, respect, resident rights, and effective communication.
- Follow safety, infection-prevention, universal-precaution, body-mechanics, and equipment-use standards.
- Participate in meetings, training, and continuing education.
- Perform on-call duties and other assigned responsibilities.
