CNA Caregiver – Full-Time/PRN
About The Position
Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors and adults in their homes throughout the Fort Worth, Granbury, and surrounding areas. The role offers full-time and PRN (as-needed) opportunities. Scheduling and assignments depend on client needs and caregiver availability. Caregivers help clients maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and independence at home. Applicants should have current Texas CNA certification, relevant caregiving experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to assist clients with personal care and mobility. Required training and onboarding must be completed. Compensation is $15.00–$17.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Eligible shifts receive a weekend pay differential. Benefits include paid training and orientation, biweekly direct deposit, an employee referral program, and support from the office and scheduling team. Additional hours may be available based on client needs.
Requirements
- Current Texas CNA certification.
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with ongoing care needs.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
- Ability to travel to client homes in the Fort Worth, Granbury, and surrounding areas.
- Ability to assist clients safely with personal care and mobility needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependability, patience, compassion, and professionalism.
- Willingness to complete required training and onboarding.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of professional caregiving or CNA experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the client's care plan.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, comfortable environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions.
- Communicate with the office and care team regarding client needs.
- Follow individualized care plans and established care procedures.
