About The Position

The Caregiver is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Health & Wellness Director. The role assists residents with daily living needs according to their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The stated schedule is 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the salary is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aid (CHHA).

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Dementia experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in care plans.
• Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
