About The Position

The Caregiver is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Health & Wellness Director. The role supports residents with the aspects of daily life identified in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The listed shifts are 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11 p.m., and 11 p.m.–7 a.m., Monday through Friday, including every other weekend. The salary range is $21.00–$22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Dementia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
