CNA Caregiver – Full-Time/PRN
About The Position
Comfort Keepers is hiring compassionate, dependable, and professional Certified Nursing Assistants to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors and adults in their homes throughout the Fort Worth, Granbury, and surrounding areas. The role offers full-time and PRN (as-needed) opportunities. Scheduling and assignments depend on client needs and caregiver availability. Caregivers help clients maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and independence at home. Duties may include personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, monitoring client conditions, and following individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Current Texas CNA certification.
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with ongoing care needs.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
- Ability to travel to client homes in the Fort Worth, Granbury, and surrounding areas.
- Ability to assist clients safely with personal care and mobility needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependability, patience, compassion, and professionalism.
- Willingness to complete required training and onboarding.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of professional caregiving or CNA experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the client's care plan.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, comfortable environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions.
- Communicate with the office and care team regarding client needs.
- Follow individualized care plans and established care procedures.
