FULL-TIME CNA & CAREGIVER OPPORTUNITIES
About The Position
Senior Helpers of Chatham County is hiring compassionate, dependable CNAs and experienced caregivers to support seniors in their homes throughout Savannah, the Islands, and Pooler. The role offers full-time hours of 30 or more hours per week, with a variety of clients and schedules. Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be available, and the company works to match candidates’ skills and availability with suitable opportunities. Caregivers build relationships through companionship and conversation, assist with personal care and mobility, prepare meals, provide medication reminders, and help with light housekeeping, transportation, and errands. They share updates and report changes in clients’ conditions, including supporting clients living with dementia using a positive approach. Base pay is $16–$17 per hour for 4–12-hour shifts, with top performers potentially earning $2 or more extra per hour for the pay period.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification, or at least two years of professional caregiving experience with a licensed home care provider.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Current TB test.
- Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
- Comfort using a smartphone for scheduling and communication.
- Seeking at least 30 hours of caregiving work per week.
Nice To Haves
- Senior Gems Alzheimer’s and dementia training or other certifications that may qualify for additional pay increases.
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships through conversation and companionship.

- Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers.

- Complete clear, accurate care notes.
- Respond promptly to communications and support the team by picking up open shifts.
