About The Position

Monarch Communities is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants to provide daily nursing, living, and personal care services in accordance with residents’ established care plans. The role supports residents with daily activities and personal needs, while helping maintain their safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality. This is a part-time position with shifts available from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., paying $21.00–$21.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide.
• Ability to perform duties involving standing, walking, sitting, fine and gross motor skills, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Intermittent lifting and supporting of residents; must use proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in care plans.
• Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
• Assist residents with daily-life needs identified in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.
