About The Position
The Care Manager provides personal care, support, and companionship to residents in a senior living community. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, monitoring changes in their condition and care needs, updating their Resident Care Plans, and encouraging participation in community programs and activities. The position is part-time, with scheduled shifts ranging from morning to evening and overnight hours as listed in the posting. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aid (HHA).
- Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.
- Ability to perform the listed physical activities and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
- Dementia experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Observe changes in residents’ condition and personal care needs and update their Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
- Lift and support residents using proper body mechanics, as needed.
