About The Position

The Club Manager oversees gym operations to ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience and a financially successful club. The role leads employees in a positive, motivating manner and provides ongoing assistance with employee training and development. The manager helps deliver superior customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, while maintaining a friendly, welcoming, and clean club environment.

Requirements

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Exceptional leadership, diplomacy, and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Suite.
• Hard-working, enthusiastic, and energetic.
• Strong problem-resolution skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be punctual.
• Must be able to remain constantly on call on an immediate, as-needed basis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working as an Assistant Manager at Planet Fitness is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive, motivating culture for Team Members and customers.
• Maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for Team Members, members, prospective members, and guests.
• Ensure Team Members follow superior customer service guidelines.
• Keep the club spotlessly clean.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing club Team Members.
• Handle payroll and staff management.
• Oversee gym operations and support the club’s financial success.
