About The Position

Paradies Lagardère is hiring closers and weekend crew for Jimmy John's at Asheville Regional Airport. Team members work in a retail and dining environment and help create first-class experiences for travelers. Duties include preparing food according to recipes, safely using kitchen equipment, greeting guests, taking and processing orders and payments, and providing knowledgeable menu recommendations. The position is advertised at $18 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

Ability to use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Knowledge of the restaurant's menu and products, including the ability to address guest questions about potential food allergens.

Responsibilities

Prepare, season, cook, taste, carve, portion, and serve food in accordance with recipes and product directions.
Use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Greet and acknowledge guests and take their drink and food orders within 30 seconds of entering the concept.
Accurately total orders and process and collect guest payments using the point-of-sale system.
Handle cash and credit or debit card transactions, make change, and follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
Know the restaurant's menu and products and enthusiastically recommend options to guests, especially when asked about potential food allergens.
Help create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.
