Clinical Scanner Patient Roomer Physician Practice
About The Position
The Clinical Scanner & Patient Roomer records correspondence in patients’ electronic medical records and helps prepare patients for medical visits by rooming them and providing an excellent patient experience. The role includes taking vital signs, scanning correspondence and lab and X-ray reports into the correct patient record, entering patient information into the EMR, and preparing and processing documents according to procedures. The position is based at Franciscan Point Crown Point in Crown Point, Indiana. The listed schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with 8-hour shifts. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential through the State Licensing Board.
Nice To Haves
- One year of medical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
