About The Position

Sailor Health is hiring licensed clinical psychologists with a PhD or PsyD to provide telehealth therapy to older adults throughout the United States. The position is fully remote, and clinicians can set their own schedules, with availability across all seven days of the week. Roles are available part-time or full-time and are paid per session. Clinicians may work as 1099 contractors starting at 15 hours per week or as W-2 employees starting at 25 hours per week; W-2 clinicians receive full benefits.

Sailor Health provides patient referrals and caseload support, handles billing and non-clinical administrative needs, and offers clinical consultation and live administrative help. Clinicians use the company’s telehealth platform, EMR, and AI documentation assistant. The work focuses on supporting older adults through grief, loss, isolation, and other life transitions, while care navigators and healthcare advocates address patients’ non-clinical needs.

Requirements

• Be located in the United States.
• Hold a doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
• Hold an active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the role is posted.
• Be comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.
• Medicare billing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s goals and needs.
• Manage a clinical caseload and make clinical decisions with support from the care team.
• Complete documentation in the EMR, using AI-assisted notes.
• Participate in regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders.
