About The Position

Sailor Health is hiring licensed clinical psychologists with a PhD or PsyD to provide telehealth psychotherapy to older adults throughout the United States. The role may be part-time or full-time, and clinicians can set their schedule, with availability to work seven days a week. Clinicians may join as 1099 contractors starting at 15 hours per week or as W2 employees starting at 25 hours per week. Compensation is per session.

Sailor Health provides a matched caseload, billing and administrative support, care navigation, healthcare advocacy, clinical consultation, and provider support. The position is fully remote and designed to let clinicians focus on patient care. W2 clinicians working at least 25 hours per week receive benefits. The organization also offers free continuing education, geriatric-focused training, and clinical consultation.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States.
• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
• Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the role is posted.
• Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with older adult or geriatric populations.
• Medicare billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's goals and needs.
• Manage an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with support from the care team.
• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record, using AI-assisted notes.
• Participate in regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders.
