About The Position

Sailor Health is hiring licensed clinical psychologists to provide telehealth therapy to older adults throughout the United States. The role is fully remote, and clinicians set their own schedules, with availability across all seven days of the week. Positions are available part-time or full-time and are paid per session. Clinicians may work as 1099 contractors starting at 15 hours per week or as W2 employees starting at 25 hours per week; W2 roles include full benefits.

Sailor Health supports clinicians by building their caseloads, handling billing and administrative tasks, and providing clinical consultation and live administrative support. Care Navigators and Healthcare Advocates address patients’ non-clinical needs, allowing clinicians to focus on therapy. The organization serves patients in all 50 states and reports a consistent flow of referrals.

The position focuses on evidence-based psychotherapy for older adults, individualized treatment planning, and clinical decision-making. Clinicians use the company’s telehealth platform and electronic medical record, with an AI documentation assistant. Paid case consultations, free continuing education, and geriatric-focused training are available. W2 clinicians working at least 25 hours per week receive health, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with up to a 3.5% employer match.

Requirements

• Be located in the United States.
• Hold a doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
• Have an active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the role is posted.
• Be comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with older adult or geriatric populations.
• Medicare billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s goals and needs.
• Manage an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with support from the care team.
• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record using AI-assisted notes.
• Participate in regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders.
