About The Position

Sailor Health is hiring licensed clinical psychologists (PhD or PsyD) to provide telehealth therapy to older adults. The position is fully remote within the United States, and clinicians may choose a schedule that suits them, with availability across all seven days of the week and no required evenings or on-call work. Roles are available part-time or full-time and are paid per session.

Clinicians may work as 1099 contractors, starting at 15 hours per week, or as W2 employees, starting at 25 hours per week. W2 clinicians working at least 25 hours per week receive full benefits. Sailor Health provides patient referrals and caseload support, billing and administrative assistance, clinical consultation, and a telehealth platform with an AI documentation assistant. The organization focuses on Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy for older adults.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States.
• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
• Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the role is posted.
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with older adult or geriatric populations.
• Medicare billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth.
• Build individualized treatment plans around each patient’s goals and needs.
• Manage an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with support from the care team.
• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record, with AI-assisted notes.
• Participate in regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders.
