About The Position

Sailor Health is hiring PSYPACT-authorized clinical psychologists to provide telehealth psychotherapy to older adults across participating states. The position is fully remote within the United States, and clinicians set their own schedules. Both part-time and full-time arrangements are available, paid per session: 1099 contractors start at 15 hours per week, while W2 employees start at 25 hours per week and receive full benefits. Clinicians provide evidence-based therapy to older adults and build individualized treatment plans. Sailor Health supports the clinical work by handling billing and administrative needs, matching clinicians with patients, providing live administrative help and clinical consultation, and offering a telehealth platform with an AI documentation assistant. Clinicians maintain their own caseloads and make clinical decisions with support from the care team.

Requirements

Must be located in the United States.
Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
Active, independent license to practice psychology in a PSYPACT participating state.
Active PSYPACT Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). Sailor Health reimburses initial application fees for clinicians who do not yet have it.
Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Nice To Haves

Experience with older adult or geriatric populations.
Medicare billing experience.

Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via telehealth across PSYPACT states.
Build individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s goals and needs.
Manage an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with support from the care team.
Complete documentation in the company’s EMR, with AI-assisted notes.
Participate in regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders.
