About The Position

Under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Manager, the Clinical Operations Coordinator coordinates departmental functions and provides advanced clerical and operational support to assigned departments. The role develops, researches, participates in, and leads projects to meet departmental needs; uses advanced computer applications to support varied responsibilities; and applies critical thinking. In the Staffing Office, the coordinator provides administrative and operational support for bed timekeeping, staffing, bed placement, and patient flow. The coordinator acts independently on routine matters and escalates concerns to the Clinical Operations Manager, Administrative Supervisor, or Senior Director when clinical complexities warrant.

Requirements

Two years of clinical experience.
Ability to apply critical thinking.
Ability to act independently on routine matters and escalate concerns as necessary.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field.
One year of experience in healthcare finance.
One year of experience in healthcare materials management.
Advanced computer skills.
