Clinical Mental Health Clinician and Group Facilitator
About The Position
Transitions Counseling and Consulting is seeking a mental health therapist or counselor to provide group-based and individual treatment services for adolescents and adults, with a focus on PHP group therapy for adolescents. The clinician will develop and implement personalized treatment plans and use evidence-based practices to address depression, anxiety, and social challenges. The role leads the nationally accredited group therapy program five days a week in a PHP setting, collaborates with other professionals to support client outcomes, and mentors advanced graduate interns. The position is designed to be in office at the designated location to support team collaboration and supervision.
Requirements
- Hold an active Texas license as an LPC-A, LMSW, LAMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
- Continuously maintain active cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification.
- Must not be suspended, excluded, or debarred from participation in federal health care programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Provide group and individual therapy to adolescents and adults using evidence-based practices to address depression, anxiety, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with other professionals to support the best outcomes for clients.
- Guide and mentor advanced graduate interns.
- Lead the nationally accredited group therapy program five days a week in a PHP setting.
Benefits
- Salaried compensation of $65,000 to $75,000.
- Annual bonus potential of $8,000 to $10,000 or more.
